The Running Gun is a Blog created by Samuel to bring you some good ol' fashioned fun discussing everything from classic to modern firearms along with all the gear to go with 'em. It's not all about competitions, the newest guns, trick shots or "Rickie Recons." Guns are sewn deep into our history and culture, they're vital to freedom, useful tools and a fun way to relax. We're here to share our passion and provide you with history, reviews on products and techniques.
Samuel Kopta
Samuel is a native to southern Oregon, raised with a love for the great outdoors. His favorite memories are from driving down logging roads and learning to shoot in old quarries. Samuel spent five years in the Marine Corps stationed in North Carolina having deployed twice overseas. Him and his wife Madison live in northern California with their four children, dogs, cats and chicken.
